Design Development

Once Hayes & Partners have produced survey drawings, we use these as a basis for our design proposals and present sketch options to you.  Once you have confirmed a preferred route, we will develop and refine proposals which we will review with you, making any necessary adjustments to ensure they aligns with your vision.

For projects involving a Listed Building or located within a Conservation Area, you may need to appoint a Historic Buildings Consultant to produce a Heritage Statement and Impact Assessment to support the proposals.  We usually obtain quotations for this and then appoint a specialist on your behalf.

If your project involves a building of significant historical interest you may need to discuss proposals with, and obtain support from, Historic England (formerly English Heritage).  We would handle the process and liaise with them on your behalf, if required.

Next, we will work on applying for Planning Permission.
