BSc(Hons), PgDip, RIBA
Kelly originally joined Hayes & Partners in 2005 as an architectural assistant after successfully completing her RIBA Part 1. After spending time teaching in Tokyo and working at a well-known London practice, she continued her RIBA Part 2 architectural training at London South Bank University (LSBU) where she was awarded the 2010 Derwent King Memorial Prize for ‘Contributions to Studio’.
Whilst a student at LSBU Kelly worked for the London Engineering Project; a group created and led by the Royal Academy of Engineering with the aim of educating, encouraging and enthusing school-aged children to pursue science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects.
Following her post-graduate qualification in 2010, Kelly continued to live in London but returned to employment with Hayes & Partners, overseeing the technical design and assisting with the building contract administration for one of our large London projects. In 2013 she spent time working with a Surrey-based interior designer where she gained her RIBA chartership.
In 2014 Kelly returned to Hayes & Partners. Now based in Mid-Sussex, she is part of the delivery team, which takes projects from planning consent, through production information and construction, to completion. She is a Project Architect and Contract Administrator for our London and South-East projects and also responsible for the practice’s marketing and social media presence.
In her spare time Kelly is a governor to a Mid-Sussex primary school, advising the Leadership & Management, Health & Safety and Building Maintenance committees.
